Kreindler Investigating Fatal Amazon Prime Air Cargo Airline Crash in Miami, Florida
What Happened
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, at approximately 2 p.m. a Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft operated for Amazon Air by 21 Air, LLC crashed after overrunning Runway 30 at Miami International Airport in Miami, Florida. According to news reports, Amazon Prime cargo plane flight 7598 struck two vehicles on the ground, killing five people and injuring five others. The airplane originally departed from San Luis-Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was attempting to land at Miami International when the aircraft left the runway, crossed a public roadway and struck multiple vehicles before coming to rest in an airport parking area.
The Boeing 767-300 involved in the crash was built in 1994. In Sunday's incident, 21 Air, LLC was operating the aircraft on behalf of Amazon Air. The fixed-wing multi-engine airplane was equipped with General Electric CF6-80C2B6F turbo fan engines. The Registered owner of the cargo plane is listed as Andromeda Leasing II LLC, Westchester, NY.

Preliminary Investigation
News reports indicate the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the crash of the Boeing 767-300 cargo plane. Investigators have recovered the aircraft’s flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder and are examining the circumstances surrounding the runway overrun, including the aircraft’s approach and landing, weather conditions, aircraft performance and other factors.
According to initial information released by investigators, the aircraft remained airborne well into the runway before landing. Flight-tracking data also indicated a steeper-than-normal approach. The NTSB is continuing to gather evidence, and no cause of the crash has been determined.
