Kreindler successfully resolved claims arising from the deaths of prominent Rochester real estate developer Larry Glazer and his wife and fellow entrepreneur Jane Glazer, after their SOCATA TMB 900 aircraft depressurized during a flight to Florida and continued flying on autopilot for hours before crashing off the coast of Jamaica. The case involved claims of defective design of the complex software and hardware in the aircraft’s pressurization system. Attorneys presented a complex economic analysis and calculation of lost inheritance damages that showed a significant lost growth of Mr. Glazer’s real estate portfolio caused by the developer’s premature death.
