Kreindler Investigating Fatal Crash of a Cessna 441 Conquest Airplane in Youngstown, Ohio

What Happened
Kreindler is investigating the June 29, 2025, crash of a Cessna 441 turboprop aircraft in Youngstown, Ohio, which killed all 6 people aboard. According to a New York Post article, the victims include James Weller, the owner of Liberty Steel Industries Inc., his wife Veronica Weller, their son John Weller, daughter-in-law Maria Weller, along with the pilot, Joseph Maxin and co-pilot, Timothy Blake. The Cessna crashed just minutes after taking off from Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Ohio en route to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Montana.
The Cessna, registry number N441LS, manufactured in 1984, was a fixed-wing multi-engine airplane equipped with Airesearch Standard TPE331 Series engines. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) registry website, the Cessna was registered to Meander Air LLC located in Warren, Ohio.

Preliminary Investigation
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the crash with the assistance of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The NTSB expects to release a preliminary report by the end of July. The Cessna 441 Conquest airplane crashed in a wooded area approximately two miles west of the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in the backyard of a house.
