Partner Dan Rose Flies Wounded Vets as Part of the Veterans Airlift Command Hero Flight Program

Kreindler partner and Navy veteran pilot Dan Rose serves as an approved volunteer pilot for the Veterans Airlift Command, flying wounded veterans of Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and their families for needed medical treatment and other compassionate purposes. By flying general aviation aircraft like a Cirrus SR22, Dan and the veteran are able make use of a much wider selection of airports than if they flew traditional commercial aircraft, and the injured veteran is able to avoid the obstacles of long security lines and limited baggage options.

Hero Flights is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to provide free air transportation for combat wounded and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes. The group also coordinates with awaiting medical staff to ensure someone is on the ground to meet them upon arrival.

About Kreindler Partner Dan Rose
Attorney Daniel O. Rose served in the U.S. Navy as a carrier-based attack pilot on board the U.S.S. Independence where he participated in Operation Desert Shield. Dan is a partner at Kreindler and was appointed to the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee for the Boeing 737 MAX litigation against the Boeing Company. Recently, Dan led Kreindler’s successful representation for the family of prominent Rochester residents Larry and Jane Glazer who were killed in a tragic Socata private airplane crash. He is an active pilot with over 3,000 hours of flight time.
