Executive Airlines Jetstream 31 — Our Firm Retained By Family Of Two Passengers (May 2000)
This firm has been retained by the family of two passengers killed in the Executive Airlines crash near Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on May 21, 2000. The crash involves a British Aerospace Jetstream 31, a 19 seat turboprop. According to NTSB member George Black, "the flight crew declared a missed approach and subsequently advised ATC that one engine was out. The flightcrew then advised that both engines were out."
Partners Francis G. Fleming and Brian J. Alexander are working on the case. Brian Alexander has experience operating similar turboprop aircrafts. The firm has retained a former NTSB Investigator-In-Charge and Jetstream 31 Captain to monitor the ongoing NTSB investigation and begin our internal examination of the crash. Our expert has previously written several NTSB safety recommendations for the Jetstream 31. We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the engine failures and the conduct of the air aircraft's pilots.
