Kreindler & Kreindler LLP maintains close professional relationships with other
attorneys and law firms nationwide and worldwide. In its nearly 60 years of practicing law,
Kreindler & Kreindler has never advertised or solicited cases. Instead, our practice has been
built on referrals from other lawyers in a variety of contexts.
Some attorneys refer clients to Kreindler & Kreindler LLP because they specialize in
different legal fields and defer to our well recognized expertise in the areas in which we practice.
Even attorneys who represent plaintiffs in tort cases still refer complex cases or cases
which require significant manpower or capital resources in order to best serve the interests of the
client. Our ability to staff and fund cases puts our clients on equal footing with most defendants.
Our attorneys have also been asked step into complex cases as trial counsel or as special
appellate counsel. We have tried cases, and briefed and argued appeals in most of the 50 States.
Regardless of how or why a case comes to Kreindler & Kreindler LLP from another
attorney, we recognize that the referring counsel's name and reputation are forever associated
with the case. Cases are referred to our firm with confidence and without reservation because
referring lawyers know that we provide the highest degree of professionalism, quality legal work
and compassion to our cases and our clients.
We recognize that some referring attorneys prefer to remain significantly involved in a
case while others are comfortable with less involvement. Participation in each case varies with
the case's requirements. In some cases referring counsel act as a liaison with clients while in
other cases there is a true and equal co-counsel relationship that develops.
In every case referred to the firm, Kreindler & Kreindler LLP shares the attorney's fee
with the referring co-counsel. The fee sharing arrangement is usually agreed to at the beginning
of the case.
