David Beekman

David Beekman is an attorney practicing exclusively in the area of personal injury litigation for
over twenty five years. Having graduated from St. John's University School of Law in June of
1977, he was admitted to practice in the State of New York in March, 1978.
He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of
New York, Eastern District of New York and Northern District of New York, the United States
Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
He became an associate with the firm of Kreindler & Kreindler LLP in 1985 and was named a
partner of the firm in 1990. He became counsel to the firm in 2007.
He is a member of the American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, New York
State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar
Association and the Federal Bar Council. He is on the Executive Committee of the Torts,
Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and is coeditor
of that section's Journal, he is also co-author of a three volume treatise entitled "New York
Law of Torts", and has lectured for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the
American Bar Association.
His varied litigation experience includes motor vehicle, aviation, train and boating accidents,
medical malpractice, products liability, construction accidents, premises liability, municipal and
other areas of general tort liability where he has obtained many million dollar and multi-million
dollar recoveries. |
