Susan D. Bainnson

Susan D. Bainnson specializes in aviation wrongful death, personal injury and maritime litigation. Prior to joining Kreindler & Kreindler, Ms. Bainnson specialized in federal court civil litigation. She has extensive pre-trial, trial and appellate experience in a variety of subject matter areas.
Ms. Bainnson graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Binghamton where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. She is a graduate of Cornell Law School where she served as the Chancellor of the Moot Court Board and an editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Ms. Bainnson was actively involved in the unprecedented legal action arising from the September 11th terrorist attacks, including both the litigation against the airlines, security companies and public authorities as well as the litigation against the terrorists, and proceedings before the Victims' Compensation Fund.
In addition, Ms. Bainnson has been involved in numerous domestic and international aviation cases involving a range of product liability and negligence issues. These technically complex cases involved various aviation products including engines, auto pilot systems and flight control systems.
Ms. Bainnson is admitted to the state and federal bars of New York and New Jersey. She is active in a number of professional groups, including the American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA), the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the New York Women's Bar Association.
