Marc. S. Moller Received the Prestigious Pursuit of Justice Award at the American Bar Association's 2008 Annual Meeting in August.

CHICAGO, June 10, 2008 - The American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section honored Marc S. Moller with the Pursuit of Justice Award. The award recognizes lawyers and judges who have shown outstanding merit and excelled at ensuring access to justice.

The award will be presented to Moller at the ABA's 2008 Annual Meeting in New York City during the Pursuit of Justice Award Reception in the Empire Room, Lobby Level, Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, on Friday, Aug. 8, from 5 - 5:45 p.m.

Moller is a partner at Kreindler & Kreindler LLP, New York City, and has been a trial and appellate lawyer for most of his professional career. He has represented plaintiffs in commercial aviation accidents, mass disasters, and other wrongful death and personal injury cases. He received his Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 1963 and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in 1961.

Notably, Moller's extensive aviation litigation experience has led to awards and settlements in cases involving virtually every type of commercial and general aviation aircraft in operation today. Additionally, Moller is plaintiffs' liaison counsel in tort litigation arising from the September 11 terrorist attacks, which is pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Moller has held a broad range of leadership positions in many organizations devoted to law, civic and charitable pursuits. He has served as chair of the Aviation and Space Law Committee of TIPS as well as the Aviation Committee of the New York State Bar Association. Moller is also a fellow with the American College of Trial Lawyers.

The ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section unites plaintiff, defense, insurance and corporate counsel to advance the civil justice system.
