On November 26, 2008, terrorists launched simultaneous attacks on numerous sites in Mumbai, India. The coordinated attacks lasted for days and were carried out by a small band of well trained terrorists who targeted locations known to be frequented by tourists. Amongst the hundreds of dead and injured were several American citizens.
On November 19, 2010, the American victims, represented by Kreindler & Kreindler, files a civil suit in Federal Court in the Eastern District of New York against the planners and perpetrators of the terrorist attack, and their supporters.
The defendants are the Pakistan-based terrorist group, Lahkar e Taiba and the Pakistan military intelligence organization, the Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate.
