Kreindler Investigating the Crash of a Bell 206 Helicopter in Southern California

Three people died early Sunday, February 10th, when a Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopter crashed on a Southern California property while conducting filming for a "reality TV" program.

The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the Polsa Rosa Movie Ranch in Acton, on the northwestern edge of the Angeles National Forest about 30 miles north of Los Angeles.

The three victims of the crash were working on an upcoming Discovery channel production, called "Untitled Military Project". The names identified of those in the crash are helicopter pilot David Gibbs, 59, along with Darren Rydstrom, 45, crew of the show, and Michael Donatelli, 45, cast member.

Kreindler Partner Dan Rose is handling two similar cases involving helicopter crashes during the filming for television productions and shares his thoughts in his blog here.
