Trial Lawyers for Public Justice marshals the skills and resources of over 3,000 of the nation's top lawyers to fight for justice through precedent-setting and socially significant litigation.
Public Justice named Jim and Steve Trial Lawyers of the Year for their work in the Lockerbie, Scotland - Pan Am 103 Litigation. After a 3 month trial, they were able to prove that Pan Am acted with wilful misconduct in allowing a bomb to be placed on Flight 103 and obtained a recovery of over $500 million dollars from the airline. Then Jim and Steve were able to recently bring Libya to justice, forcing that nation to pay $10,000,000 to each family, for a total of $2.7 billion. The litigation spanned twenty years and was lead by Lee S. Kreindler.
