Michael Boody joined Kreindler & Kreindler LLP as an associate in 2008. He received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University in 1993. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law in 2007. Mr. Boody was the recipient of the Corporate Counsel Technology Institute fellowship for the 2006/2007 academic year.
He has an extensive background in computer science and aviation that includes the design and engineering of flight control and flight guidance software used in various jet aircraft. Mr. Boody has an FAA Airline Transport Pilot license, is type rated in the B-1990D and is a certified multiengine instrument flight instructor.
Mr. Boody was a captain for Continental Airline's commuter affiliate Continental Connection and has over 2000 flight hours which includes airline and corporate aviation as well as providing flight instruction to pilots of all skill levels.
While at Kreindler & Kreindler LLP, Mr. Boody has been actively involved in the litigation of the following air crashes:
- American Airlines Flight 587, the crash of an Airbus A300B4-605R at Belle Harbor, New York on November 12, 2001; and
- GOL Airlines Flight 1907, a mid-air collision of a Boeing 737-800 and an Embraer Legacy over the Amazon jungle on September 29, 2006.
