Jared L. Watkins
Jared L. Watkins joined Kreindler & Kreindler LLP as an Associate in April 2010. Mr. Watkins currently works on state and federal matters including aviation disaster and product liability cases.
Mr. Watkins received his J.D. in 2009 from Brooklyn Law School (BLS), where he was a Sparer Fellow and International Human Rights Law Fellow. Mr. Watkins was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and served as a Notes & Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. Through his clinical work at Brooklyn Law School's Safe Harbor Project, Mr. Watkins represented an Indonesian client in removal proceedings in Immigration Court and won asylum for the client. Mr. Watkins also completed internships at the U.S. Attorney's Office for EDNY, the Documentation Center of Cambodia, and the International Center for Transitional Justice.
Mr. Watkins graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. He currently serves as Treasurer of the U.S. Board of Directors of the East African Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
